A stream of thought which brings me to musing about anti-gravity chambers

Last night I'm having trouble sleeping. My mind is on my 11 year old boy.
He's upset about how baseball is going. He signed up to have fun, which is great. That's all we want. We are not those parents who think their child's life will be formed by how they play a middle school sport. But don't be upset when the other kids who practice a lot are better than you when you are not trying very hard. And, this is how my stream of thought went last night:
  • If you try hard you can do anything
  • Except defy the laws of physics
  • You will not be able to walk on the ceiling like Spider-Man
  • Unless you had really strong suction cups
  • But that's not really defying physics
  • It's not like you are controlling gravity with your mind
  • I wonder what it feels like to be in an anti-gravity chamber
  • I don't think they're only at NASA anymore
  • I wonder if I can try it one day...
Have a great Thursday everyone!
