Throw-back Thursday, the personal edition

Well, #TBT has been very popular, so I thought I'd get a little personal this time since my wedding anniversary is coming up in a couple of days. In 1996 I married the love of my life. 

 And here's one of me and my other BFF, my sister Laura.

Before I met my husband, I was looking forward to a life collecting enough cats to become the local "crazy cat lady", since, in my opinion, there's nothing wrong with that. However, love changes all, and I met Mike on a blind date. The good news, I found love, the bad news, he's severely allergic to cats. I hadn't actually gotten a cat yet, so we spent our engagement taking care of my beta fish.
